What is a 'Couch Slug'?

The term "Couch Slug" pre-dates the consulting business. As you might suspect, Couch Slug is derived from "Couch Potatos," a Saturday Night Live skit which aired some time during the 1980s. The term Couch Slug stretches the sloth metaphor, a little. It's a play on words.
       Regarding Couch Slug Consulting, the metaphor is indicative of our humor, not our work ethic. If the name troubles you, lighten up. Or better yet, ask our clients about their satisfaction with Couch Slug services.
       To fully understand the name, an understanding which is totally useless and trivial, you should know the origins of the Couch Slugz.
